It's not a bad way of organizing photos.

There is an option of making a collage of photos. I learned that "Less is More" when doing this. Using more than 3 pictures may have undesireable results if one uses the "Picture Pile" option.
<img style=height="300" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/echo9er/Dogs-Brewster-Buffy/collage.jpg" width="405" />

Here is a picture of Brewster with is toy GSD, both relaxing on Brewster's new bed. Kansas Says No.

Two years after the Parimutuel Racing Act was passed in Kansas, the law protecting pets in the state was changed to exclude greyhounds from the designation of dog.
There are those in Kansas who want to change the law to have Greyhounds designated as dogs.

The National Greyhound Association, based in Abilene, Kan., disagrees. So here are a few pictures that were taken during 2004. Please enjoy and download as you want.

Brewster in a rare moment, being still so I can take a picture. Of course I would have to catch him with his eyes closed. Brewster really likes it outside, especially on days that look like this.

Buffy cut her foot on something, so we administered a little First Aid. She did really well. Brewster would have grumbled and would have needed a muzzle. Buffy just took it all in stride. She was back to chasing Jasmine in no time. (July 2004)

Cauleen catches Buffy and Jasmine so David could take a picture. Whenever these 2 are together, it's non-stop action. They chase and play hard all day long. It gets to be a REAL mess if the weather is bad (rain), so when that happens, we have to separate them. This day was great. (July 2004)

So, Buffy sits with David and Jasmine in her Christmas Star collar. She was SO good about wearing the collar. (Christmas 2004)

Another picture of Buffy with her Christmas Star collar. As Brewster and Buffy had 4 dog friend over for a visit on Christmas Day. We posted the rules on the 23rd, so here goes:

Holiday Guidelines for the Dog
1. Be especially patient with your humans during this time. They may appear to be more stressed-out than usual and they will appreciate long comforting dog leans.
2. They may come home with large bags of things they call gifts. Do not assume that all the gifts are yours.
3. Be tolerant if your humans put decorations on you. They seem to get some special kind of pleasure out of seeing how you look with fake antlers.
4. They may bring a large tree into the house and set it up in a prominent place and cover it with lights and decorations. Bizarre as this may seem to you, it is an important ritual for your humans, so there are some things you need to know:
- don't pee on the tree
- don't drink water in the container that holds the tree
- mind your tail when you are near the tree
- if there are packages under the tree, even ones that smell interesting or that have your name on them, don't rip them open
- don't chew on the cord that runs from the funny-looking hole in the wall to the tree
5. Your humans may occasionally invite lots of strangers to come visit during this season. These parties can be lots of fun, but they also call for some discretion on your part:
- not all strangers appreciate kisses and leans
- don't eat off the buffet table
- beg for goodies subtly
- be pleasant, even if unknowing strangers sit on your sofa
- don't drink out of glasses that are left within your reach
6. Likewise, your humans may take you visiting. Here your manners will also be important:
- observe all the rules in #4 for trees that may be in other people's houses. (4a is particularly important)
- respect the territory of other animals that may live in the house
- tolerate children
- turn on your charm big time
7. A big man with a white beard and a very loud laugh may emerge from your fireplace in the middle of the night. DON'T BITE HIM!!

Signing off for now! To Brewster and Buffy

This Blog will attempt to document my Dogs, Brewster and Buffy.

Brewster and Buffy are Purebred German Shepherds. I have had Brewster since he was 7 weeks old. He has been a GREAT companion. Buffy came to us at almost 1 year. She is very tolerant, and was in a situation with a young 2 1/2 - 3 year old child that pulled on her tail and ears. The child's parents were worried that Buffy would react to the child, so they reluctantly gave her up. She has been a wonderful addition and a great companion for Brewster.

I will attempt to provide a photo log of both dogs with dates and captioning where possible.

Signing off for now!
